The Legacy of Ile Ori

Ile Ori Ogbe Egun: Temple of the Enlightened Path​ was founded in 2001 by Iyanifa Ifalade TaShia Asanti under the guidance of Oloye Ifa Karade.

In 2005, Ile Ori membership numbers gave it the spiritual right to form an official "Rama," or spiritual lineage thus the Ogunda-Ajake lineage was born under the odu, Irete Meji.

In 2007, Ile Ori founded the Institute of Transformational Education & Collective Healing (I-TEACH Love) as the educational arm of the Ile.

The Mission of Ile Ori

Grounded in the indigenous cultural principles and values found in the 6000-year-old faith practice known as Ifa, Ile Ori Ogbe Egun: I-TEACH Love Institute seeks to create collaborative opportunities for the cultivation of healthy communities, greater cultural understanding, ecological sustainability and spiritual inclusivity (cohesive interfaith collectives).

The Vision of Ile Ori

To assist individuals, families and communities in increasing their understanding of culturally and spiritually diverse communities; To foster an appreciation of indigenous values and ways of living; To provide programs and services that promote healthy families and communities; To provide opportunities for adults, youth and families to engage in activities that support self-realization, to create educational opportunities that foster ecological sustainability.
